In ‘Mindfulness for Warriors | PPP110’ I share the top 5 most impactful lessons I learned from reading Mindfulness for Warriors: Empowering First Responders to Reduces Stress and Build Resilience by Kim Colegrove, Author and Owner at Pause First Foundation.
The book is organized into three primary sections called “Warrior”, “Weight” and “Wisdom”. In “Warrior” the reader learns more about Kim and her husband David’s suicide and its impact on those around them. Next, in “Weight” and we read stories from First Responders and the tools they have used that helped them regulate their emotions, stress and trauma. The last section is “Wisdom” where Kim shares the how for mindfulness, meditation and breath work.
