Make the ICS Forms Work for You

The standard incident command system (ICS) forms are great ways to capture objectives and tactics. But, I also believe in the mantra, “Make the ICS forms work for you.”. My former IMT colleagues and I have created custom worksheets as the need arose. With some feedback from friends and former IMT teammates I present the ‘OPERATIONAL PLANNING WORKSHEET – OPTIMIZED (ICS 215-O)’.

Make the forms work for you - My custom ICS 215-O
Make the forms work for you – My custom ICS 215-O

This optimized version allows the practitioner to include specific shifts for Operations folks. Further, the user can define the composition of Strike Teams and Task Forces in a reserved space.

Please review this ICS 215-O and let me know your thoughts on the proposed changes.

Stay safe, wash your hands and Godspeed,

Kevin
