At the point I created this podcast episode I had been seriously back into fitness for about 1 1/2 years. I was a member of an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT) and deployed to support localities with missing persons, large scale fires and even national level sporting and political events. To say being in shape was helpful when I was on the pavement all day or up late finishing a plan is an understatement.

My hope with this episode is I get across the importance of responders, particularly AHIMT members, to have a regular fitness routine and to look no further than their own home, garage or basement to setup space to get some serious exercise and wellness going.
