PPP46: Be the Men and Women in the Arena

In June 2019 I wrote an article on LinkedIn called “Be the Man (or Woman) In the Arena”. In this artcile I shared the iconic speech delivered by President Theodore Roosevelt in April 1910. This speech speaks to me as a great message to those that dare to try something or put in the effort and to not worry about those that sit on the sidelines judging.

For Project Managers our arena is the boardroom we walk into, the organization we join or the everyday work environment where we are tasked with pulling together teams, communicating at all levels and help guide our teams to take risks.

In ‘PPP46: Be the Man or Woman in the Arena‘, I revisit my article and walk the listener through how I think Project Managers can navigate the arena, particularly as we gather lessons learned throughout or at the end of projects.

Thank you all for reading, listening and Godspeed,
